Adjoining the green lawn of Pine Valley B&B, are sections of native bush.
We have carefully fashioned a one kilometer path that winds it's way
along a creek. We continue to add resting spots to be used for reading,
drawing, or contemplation. Our guests can examine the 53 varieties of
native and original plant life identified in our bush.
Bikes can be borrowed for a ride to Orewa beach. Beaches and Golf courses
abound as do countless drives to places like the Sat. morn. Matakana
organic farmer's market.
Downtown Auckland is a mere 25 minute drive and the must visits are to the
National Maritime Museum and the Auckland War Memorial Museum (housing one
of the world's finest displays of Maori and Polynesian culture as well as
the hall of New Zealand birds).
